DAMAC is a leading luxury real estate company in Dubai which delivers luxury residential, commercial and leisure properties across the region including UAE, KSA, Qatar, Jordan, Lebanon and United Kingdom. Since 2002, DAMAC delivered over 20,230 homes with a development portfolio of more than 44,000 units that includes 13,000 hotel rooms, serviced hotel apartments and hotel villas and has grown to become one of the foremost luxury developers. Two of the luxury properties owned by DAMAC located in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. needed an elevator control solution that will give access to residents and visitors only on the building floor that they are allowed to go.

Technical Features

ZKTeco’s elevator controller, EC10, has been deployed in both of the hotel/hotel apartments. EC10 is an elevator controller that provides customers with the most secured, scalable, versatile and affordable access control solutions. Access to different floors can be restricted based on various user credentials, including fingerprint, proximity card and/or password. Pre-defined time schedules can also be used to control floor access. During normal visits/business hours, unrestricted floor access can also be permitted.

To complete the solution, it has been connected to ZKTeco’s web-based “all-in-one” complete security management platform - ZKBioSecurity. This software includes multiple integrated modules: access control, visitor management, elevator control, parking management, video linkage, guard patrol, and hotel management module.

Using the ZKBioSecurity software, all the commands and rights of a resident or visitor, you can define in the software. The client can also monitor the punches that are being made in the elevator controller in real-time.
