Each modern housing estate has a large video surveillance system to ensure the safety of residents of houses.

Since one of the world leaders in video surveillance systems is the Dahua brand, often the cameras of this brand are installed in these same houses.

So, one of these clients turned to us. It was necessary to implement a parking access control system using UHF tags with a long recognition distance. All of this was supposed to work in one Dahua software called SmartPSS. In order to combine this into one system, Dahua controllers of the DHI-ASC1202B-S model were proposed.

They decided the question with the controller, but what about the readers. Dahua has no UHF readers. UHF reader ZKTeco UHF2-10E , thanks to the existing Wiegand interface, can be integrated with any third-party access control system.

Thus, such a kit, consisting of a DHI-ASC1202B-S controller and a slave UHF reader, helped to fully satisfy all customer requirements. In addition, for convenience, the client was offered a USB reader from ZKTeco UR10RW-E for registering UHF tags in SmartPSS software.

The UR10RW-E reader can work with any software, since when connected to a computer, the UR10RW-E is emulated as a keyboard. Using SmartPSS, users were assigned UHF access tags with which they then opened the barrier. In addition, it was possible to attach a CCTV camera installed near the barrier so that upon successful check-in, users at the entrance / exit would additionally see a video from the camera, which would help the guard identify the driver of the car by comparing the user’s images from the database with the image of the person in the video in the monitoring window in real time.
